Television as monitor

Have you an opinion re: the visual quality of the NT charts when using a television as the PC monitor vs. a computer monitor?

A TV is capable of displaying NinjaTrader charts in good quality depending on the resolution and specifications of the TV.
You would need to check the specifications of the television and compare it to computer monitors.

What are you comparing?

Walmart vizio or Sony bravo to what? Dell u3014 or $133 monitor?

And what adapters? Vga, hdmi, etc

Thanks for your responses. The TV is a Samsung LED 1080p HDTV w/ HDMI inputs. A similar monitor from Samsung w/ IPS 1920 x 1080 is the other choice. The dollar difference is small. Seems the TV is more bang for the buck.

Thanks for your reply.

The resolution of each is the same and will be similar quality however there are other specifications that will affect picture quality such as contrast ratio, refresh rate, ect.
If it is possible to go to a store in your area to see the products I would recommend to compare them in person.
