    Problems installing Ninja

Tried installing latest NT onto a new laptop that I just got and am having problems.

I keep getting the windows installer window with parameters after downloading
    {see end of message)

Found a similar thread from 2009, tried all the suggestions i.e.
    - Used two different browsers with clearing of cache (chrome and ie9) - no luck
    - Ensured that I have full admin rights
    - Right-click and run as admin
    - Even tried running in compatibility mode

Ninja is running fine on my server which is on Windows 8.

    Any help would be appreciated.

      Hi Patrick

      Tried it.

Ninja was not in the list of programs for Mr FIXIT.
I said not listed, it said no fixes applied.

I tried to reinstall and still got the windows installer error.

          Hello ct1942,

          Thank you for your post.

The Microsoft Fix It application will not locate the NinjaTrader application via the Product Code.

Can you send a note to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with 'ATTN: Patrick - 873496' in the subject line and a reference to this thread in the body of the e-mail? (http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ad.php?t=58889)

I would like to schedule a support call with you to investigate this matter further.

It appears that it could be the Windows Installer that may be damaged. Try reinstalling the Windows Installer service.
