ATS VPS/Cloud Computing Solutions for Forward Testing?

    Hello,

I have a few strategies developed that I'd like to move into forward testing for the next few months. The problem I am having however is that I cannot keep the strategies running on my personal machine long enough and with enough reliability to comfortably monitor the results.

So my question is, what are my options for running NT7 on a VPS or "cloud" that could be running remotely with 100% uptime during the duration of my testing?

If anybody has some referrals, suggestions or links I'd appreciate it very much. Cost is certainly a factor mind you, I'd like to avoid spending 100+ a month as this is all private level investing

    Thanks!

    Phil

There is an NTS partner with different levels of service.

I'm not sure what amazon runs.

Your connection sounds horrible. What's up with that?
Are you using wireless N or directly connected to your router?

Are all connections hand-tight with a wrench?

What are your signal strength readings?

Thank you, Sledge. I am forced with ATT DSL service where I am at currently and while it is reliable in uptime, it is unreliable when forced with bandwidth load. For instance, when I watch a Netflix video or any other type of streaming with another load, it will sometimes cut out for a brief moment which is just enough to disconnect me from NT.

I am using a wireless card that gets decent signal, usually around 4 bars.

Another problem I have is that on occasion, I will overload my computer with too much number crunching at which point it will freeze or give me blue screens of death. This of course, will shut down my NT7. Last, it is difficult to run my machine all day as the heat it generates with multiple GPUS and huge PSU makes the AC run nearly constantly.

I think the VPS solution will work best for me as it will give me a bit of peace of mind.

Do you know if I can run multiple instances of NT7 with one machine?

      Thank you,

      Phil
