Method to Recalculate Indicators on Charts

Can you tell me if NinjaTrader exposes a method or if there is another way to have my indicator recalculate/restart itself automatically? I am looking to change parameters "on the fly", but in order to do this, the indication has to simulate a restart by recalculating through all historical bars in the same way it does on start up or reloading the chart template.
