    CQG ^ADV and ^DECL combination.

    Hi All,

Apparently CQG doesn't feed an combined NYSE Advance/decline issue, so instead I'm looking at a pair of bars and sort of doing the math in my head as I watch.

This isn't good enough. I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong section, but this is my first post and hopefully I can be pointed in the correct direction.

Is there a way to create my own indicator with the ^ADV and ^DECL to create one line? Don't most other information services provide this anyway? I can do some simple coding and don't imagine that subtracting one number from another and charting it would be that difficult. I have never used the ninja coding language before though...

I greatly appreciate any and all help given in advance.

Welcome to our forums Ken - yes you could create a MultiSeries indicator to do that math for you on the two symbols. Just add the ADV/DECL symbols in the Initialize method and then you would have access to those bars series for the calculations -
