limited pre market data chart td ameritrade

Using Td ameritrade for data it will not show pre market data before 8 am. When I log into think or swim it shoes data for the symbol (spy) just can't get the data to come on the ninja trader platform. Please help. I am already set to default 24/7. And I need it at 5 m intervals.

ToS (thinkorswim) is still not TDA.

No.

Even the old iStockMgr app doesn't update until 8:00am.
TDA's old StrategyDesk would be limited too.

Do you really need SPY data before 8:00 am EST?

Maybe you should ditch TDA and get into E-mini futures?

I use both ZenFire (ES E-mini (starts sunday 6:00pm EST and close Friday night)) and TDA for some stocks/indexes.

If you have android, you can download this from the google app store.. this uses the TDA Feed. You should see SPY come online at 8:00am

The other TDA apps I believe, DO NOT use the same feed.

I am getting a code written for nt for a systme I am using in tos. I am making 4.76% per day avg for the past 7 months...every day. Want to put it in nt and make the system automatic.

I checked this morning - and it looks like I was kind of wrong.

The old android app was showing spy around 7:45 am..

So I brought up a chart in NT, and I was able to display the pre 8:00am EST in a chart.

I'm not sure when SPY comes online, I'm usually asleep.. 7:00am EST?, 7:30am EST?

Still got the 8 am start time.

Watched video. So my % gain that I get is from trading the option of spy. Woupd I still get the 13% w the futures? I don't actually trade the spy ticket I trade the options for it
