continuous contract

concerning the ##-## symbol for continuous contract;
Can I run an automated strategy on this and not have to recreate the strategy every 3 weeks when the contract rolls over ?

Specifically, crude oil CL ##-##

You can trade the continuous contract if you wish, if trading into a live account make sure your broker supports trading the continuous contract.

amp futures is my broker. I dont know if they do.
