Hi guys,

i am using some intraday data from Amtd but it seems that the data is not live. When i refresh the charts i do get data updated, but it is not ticking so to speak, it does not refresh automatically. Any idea why? I also am trying to get the data in Market Analyzer, and cant get it there either.

Please disconnect from your data provider, reset the instruments and restart NinjaTrader.

To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

What instrument have you selected?

(For a chart) what interval is selected?

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

This is happening with all of the instruments, no errors, when i reload the data i get the most recent chart, but as time goes by it is not ticking. Like it have some problems with live data. Not working on any time frame, 1, 15, 45 mins, daily...

Alright, i ditched the AMTD concetion for now and just using Google connection. However in the Market Analyzer i dont get the last price for all of the stocks from SP500 list. However, i set 2 columns as an indicators and they do show for almost all of the stocks. How could this be?

Google only provides end of day data in NinjaTrader.

For the LastPrice column of the Market Analyzer window to populate, you will need to be connected to a provider that supplies intra day data.

If the indicator is set to calculate off daily data, the indicator should plot in the Market Analyzer window when connected to Google.

Ok, thanks, how about Yahoo, do they provide some delayed intraday data? I also set up Last Close column and that is empty as well.

Yahoo is an end of day provider in NinjaTrader. They do not provide intra day data in NinjaTrader.
