Thank you for your post.
Yes, you can create charts by going to File > New > Chart. For information on charting in NinjaTrader please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...nt7/charts.htm

Hello joemiller,
Thank you for your post.
If you saved the workspace with the chart open then you can retrieve the chart by going to File > Workspaces > Open Workspace > select your Workspace.
For information on Workspaces please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...workspaces.htm
Please let me know if you have any questions.

can't find the handle to open a chart
thanks, the chart now appears when I open the workspace.
is there a way I can redisplay a chart if I have closed the chart? [ie] if I have closed the chart but have not closed NT.....or must I just always leave the chart open?

Hello joemiller,
Thank you for your response.
You will need to ensure you keep the chart open, but if you close it and you have previously saved the workspace then close NinjaTrader (File > Exit) and select No To All when prompted to save your workspaces > then restart NinjaTrader and the chart should appear.
Please let met know if I may be of further assistance.

thanks, that's exactly what I did when pawing around trying to find out how things work.
if you agree, kindly send a wish list request to the programmers to allow chart retrieval after closure in a workspace, to preclude having to remember rules for a special situation.

Hello joemiller,
Thank you for your patience.
You can also open a new workspace (File > Workspaces > New Workspace) > then go back to the other workspace (File > Workspaces > select the previous workpsace) > then File > Workspaces > Close Workspace > No To All > then reopen the workspace (File > Workspaces > Open Workspace).
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
