Market analyzer indicator not working

Actually, I want to use the market analyzer to save data for historical data, I search the solution saying adding a indicator column with any indicator will solve the problem.

Charting is working good. The market analyzer updates the price as normal. The problem is when I add a column of indicator, say SMA, the column displays nothing but 3 dots. Then I found the indicator problem mentioned as above.

I checked the historical data manager after that. No new data is stored. Data only store when I open a chart. Thanks for reading.

With the option 'Save chart data as historical' checked in the Tools > Options > Data tab, incoming real time chart data will be saved on your PC to be used as historical data later. You will need to receive real time data in the chart for the data to be saved on your PC.

You can record incoming real time data in the Market Analyzer window for Market Replay by going to Tools > Options > Data tab, checking the box 'Record for market replay'.

If you data provider supplies historical data you can use the Download tab of the Historical Data Manager to download the data on your machine.

'Save chart data as historical' < checked at the beginning.
'Record for market replay' < checked too.
The problem exists in this condition.

I am using IB for data feeding. It seems that IB does not support for downloading historical data. I tired many times but it didn't work. So I try to use market analyzer for storing data. With IB, the chart cannot backfill if I don't have the historical data, is it normal? Sorry for the new question.

Interactive Brokers does not supply historical tick data in NinjaTrader.

You can save incoming real time data on the chart on your PC to be used as historical data later by enabling the ' 'Save chart data as historical' option in the Tools > Options > Data tab.

Incoming data in the Market Analyzer is not saved with this feature.
