Date/Price Shift

Can you please explain.

I am back testing a strategy against EURUSD. Here is a sample of the Trade Tab:

Open Close Entry Exit
1.3244 1.3213 07/06/2013 22:00 07/06/2013 22:00
1.3089 1.3244 06/06/2013 22:00 07/06/2013 22:00
1.2939 1.3089 30/05/2013 22:00 06/06/2013 22:00

However, on the EURUSD chart I see the dates/prices shifted by 24hrs.
e.g 06/06/2013 22;00 Open=1.3089 Close=1.3244

Checking against another source, the chart data is correct.

How can I fix this issue in the strategy.

Thank you for your forum post.


You can troubleshoot this situation initially by ensuring your PC clock is synced properly:

Please use the steps below to change your Time Zone and sync the PC clock, note to set the server to time.nist.gov.


You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Press 'Change time zone...' Set the Time zone and press 'OK'.


Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.
