Data feed providers

Hi,

I would like to know if I can be connected to two providers simultaneously. And if I can receive data feed to a symbol from a provider, and receive data feed to another symbol from another provider.

Hello Plaket,

Yes, you can connect to multiple data feeds in NinjaTrader. When connected to multiple connections simultaneously in NinjaTrader, you will receive data from the first connected connection on most occasions. Only when the first connection does not support a certain instrument type (stock, futures, forex, index), it will receive data from the second connection. Then, confirm to me the next please:

I have only one Workspace in NinjaTrader with two symbols (Symbol A, and Symbol B).

And I have two real time data providers. The first one only gives me real time to A, and the second one only gives me real time to B.

If I'm connected to the two providers I am available to work with the two charts at the same Workspace simultaneously. Is it correct?

This will work if the two symbols are different instrument types and the first connection does not support the instrument type of symbol B.

Then, if the two symbols (A and B) are futures contracts. It will not work. Is it correct?
