Simultaneous Connection to DataProviders and IB Broker

Hello,

I have reviewed the Multiple connections section of the help files:

My question is then, what RealTime Data Providers can be used to source my charts (futures data) if I am using IB as my Broker? Is it true that this must be a "data only" provider?. Are Kinetick and ESignal the only two "data only" realtime data providers?

So, is there no way to use CQG or Zen-Fire data and send trades to IB Broker?

You can use BarChart, ESignal, IQFeed, and Kinetick for Real-Time data as they are only a data feed provider. Please visit the following link for information on the data provided by your connectivity provider: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...rical_data.htm

You can use data from CQG or Zen-Fire, but you will need a Multi-Broker License Key to connect to two or more brokerage technologies at once. You can view our purchase and lease options for Multi-Broker at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/purchase.php

I do have a Multi-Broker License. With this I can specify that chart data for Futures comes from my CQG/Broker and send orders to a different Broker? Is it the order of connecting that determines how charts source data?

Thank you for your response.

You can in fact do this by connecting to CQG first and then selecting your Interactive Brokers account form the account drop down menu on your order entry window.
