Data of last day is not loading

    Data of last day is not loading

    Hi,

    I am using e-signal data feed.

    I am using Ninjatrader 7.0.10000.10.

    When i load 1 min till 60 min on any chart it shows upto latest data but when on daily timeframe it is not showing data of current day.

    Any suggestions?

    In regards to loading daily data on your eSignal connection, do you receive any errors on screen or on the Log tab of the Control Center?

    Can you right mouse click on the chart background > Reload all historical data?


    You can troubleshoot this situation further by upgrading to our latest release of 7.0.1000.13:

    Please upgrade with the steps provided below. With this procedure you will not lose any Workspaces, Charts, etc. You will need to copy your license key from Control Center > Help > License Key...
    • Close all running applications.

    Once these steps are completed, download and install NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.13 from the link below:

      Hello Ryan,

      Thank you for your e-mail.

      I have uninstalled previous version and have installed new/latest version.

      I have deleted all the instruments and reconfigured everything.

      Today is 03.06.2013. Now my chart is showing last(latest) bar is of 04.06.2013.

      My clock is sync with internet time.

      I did reload all data and now back ; last bar is of 01.06.2013... i am not using any Ninjascript yet... if i load hourly chart it shows fine i.e. 03.06.2013

        Thank you for the follow up.


        To troubleshoot further why the time being displayed on your daily charts as one day in the future:


        First item to look into here is how your session templates are defined. NinjaTrader uses your PC clock to time stamp bars, and session templates are built according to a user defined time zone.



        So, if the session template is defined in US time zone, and your PC clock is set to GMT +1, NinjaTrader takes this into account. It looks like there is a 1 day delay but really the difference is between the time zone defined in the session template, and the time zone of your computer clock.


        Please note that price bars are time stamped at the closing time. For example if your PC clock uses GMT +1 time zone, daily bars are timestamped one day in the future. The closing time of the daily bar for 6/25 is during 6/26 as per GMT +1 time zone.


        If you like to reflect the price bars as expected, you can troubleshoot by setting your PC clock to a US time zone.

          Dear Ryan,

          Computer time is same as session time. Session time is defined as per NSE.

          Again it is not loading for today i.e. 04.06.2013.

          everywhere session is given as NSE only.

          Surprisingly if i load 60 min data then its fine and last bar is as per market close timing/session. If i I do daily data today's bar is missing.

            Which instrument are you attempting to load?

            Do you have eSignal version 10.6.2124 installed?



            What time zone are you located in? I am not familiar with NSE.

              i am using latest e-signal version 11.6 uptodate.

              I am located in India.

              I am trying to load ITC.EQ-NSE and GODREJIND.EQ-NSE

                To continue troubleshooting, I would recommend to uninstall eSignal version 11.6 and install the NinjaTrader supported version of eSignal version 10.6.2124:



                In regards to the daily bar being missing, does this bar appear by changing your PC clock to a US time zone?
