    NT 7 & MB Trading

    Hi,
    Until friday evening everything was fine as it was all of the last year., connecting to MBT demo servers thru NT 7.

    Since saturday NT gets connected but gives a error message "unable to get Data for symbol .." .
    This only happens when MB needed to upgrade. I never open MB desktop, NT connnects me thru navigator as usual. Now MB keeps asking for the upgrade when I open MB desktop , now I cannot connect MB servers. until latest release NT-MB combo was fine... we ned to fix this asap..please
    any help for workaround is appreciated.

    Thank you for your post.

    Please shut down NinjaTrader and the MB Trading navigator. Next, open the Windows Control Panel to uninstall the version of the MB Trading navigator which you are using currently. Next, install MBT Navigator Version 11.9.0.44 via this link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrad....11.9.0.44.exe

    Finally, restart NinjaTrader, reconnect and check to see whether the original issue remains.

      I just redid this 30 minutes ago and still have same issue. I even click donot update and kept the login window open and then Opned the NT again to connect. It connect without any problem but throws this error not getting the data.

        Hello kinshin9,

        Which version of NinjaTrader are you running at this time? To check, please click Help > About. Version will be shown near the top of that menu in a 7.0.1000.X format.

            In the message, please include the following:
            1.) A link to this forum thread.
            2.) Your latest log and trace file:
            You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
            • The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"


            You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
            • The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

            3.) Your config file:
            • You will find your configuration file in the following directory:
            • (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\config.xml

              Ryan,
              just resolved it. It is thier system screwing up the demo connections. Agent thru chat fixed it and said they are working to fix this issue. Now NT-MB connection working just fine.
