    Synch=true closing down incorrect FX positions

    Hi,

    I have a USD$ denominated strategy with Interactive Brokers.

    I have a single strategy set up in the control panel with a number of currency pairs loaded.
    All are set to Sync==true
    Whilst running only one pair(USDCHF) had an open Short position.
    The strategies were then disabled for the server reboot.
    Then when I enabled the AUDCAD strategy position(which was previously flat and still remained so), the open USDCHF position was automatically closed in IB.
    Then when the USDCHF strategy was enabled via the control panel, another USDCHF short position was entered into(as it should have been since the strategy logic was to be short) to return it back to its synced state.

    What could be going on?
    How could the enabling of a strategy on one pair be causing another pair to flatten?

    Is this and issue with NT interaction with IB and the way IB handles its FX portfolio balances?

    Regards

    Hi abfc123, to understand better what exactly happened we would need to review your trace and log files for insight, would you mind contacting us via Help >> Mail to Support with those?

    Also: do you run this setup with NT7 R13 and TWS 927.7?

    Thanks much.
