thanks! Now I am using VirtualBox, it works, but I have a lot of connection loss messages that I hate. Don't know if this is related with using a Mac, or if is related with my internet connection. The internet works while these connection losses happen.

I don't use virtualbox. I believe Koganam uses it, but he is on a Windows PC with XP running inside.
At any rate, are you on a wired connection? They do recommend wired. I imagine NT would be picky on a wireless signal.

I trade on my laptop, but it is wired to my router.Originally posted by marcopicos View PostNo, WIFI. Do you think it is better not trading in a laptop then?
I can not find at the moment where I might have read that it was recommended to use wired connection.
Maybe things have changed since the advent of 802.11N ...

Hello marcopicos,
It is recommended that you are hardwired to your router so that their is not any interference that could cause a connection loss. While wireless is fine for most internet uses when connecting to a data provider the API will be constantly monitoring to connection between your computer and their servers. If an interrupt is detected it will report a connection loss when browsing the web will not be effected since the webpage is already downloaded into your computer.
As for Mobile devices, there is another site that you may look into, I am not sure if they support the iOS yet but they are called NinjaMonitor.
