Error 1001 during installation

Hello,
I was trying to install Ninja trader latest and previous version on Winodws XP Home. When installation approaches to the end I see message which is originally in Polish which is my native language so translation might not be exact:
Error 1001: Exception during initialisation of application.
System.Configuration. ConfiguratonErrorsException: Unable to initialize configuration system.

Can you please go to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Conf ig\

Next within the Config folder please make the following changes:

• Rename the file "machine.config" to "machine.config.backup"
• Copy the file "machine.config.default"
• Paste the copy and name the copied file "machine.config"

Next please attempt to install NinjaTrader and let me know if the issue persists.

I had the same problem. Christopher, your suggestion fixed it but I did not copy .default first. Hopefully that is not a problem.

Well, I went back and copied machine.config to machine.config.default, all is well.

Are you using Windows XP Home also? Or another variant?
