Sync Functionality

Hi,

I have a strategy that is run with Sync set to True.

When NT closes a previously open position in order to sync it with the hypothetical state of a strategy, is there any way of being notified similar to overriding the OnExecution method for realtime events?
Or will I just have to keep a track of strategy state internally up to the point in time that the strategy enabling/synching occurred.

Thank you for your post.

OnExecution() will not catch the market order to sync your positions (account and strategy positions). There is no supported method to catch the "sync", as the order is not sent based on any conditions in your strategy but is an order sent from NinjaTrader internally based on your strategy settings.
