Online use of 6E ##-##

Hello everybody,

this might be a stupid question, but I'm lost here...

I'm using NT with CQG data, trying to use the "##-##" contracts so that I don't need to change contracts every few months. But, for some reason, I can't get it to run on-line.

When I open the workspace or reload historical data, the bars are displayed OK, but when the workspace is running, the price just hangs on one spot, not reflecting the market at all. In the control center, when I choose the 6E ##-## instrument, all the price fields contain a "n/a" signs.

Is there any way to make this run, or am I missing something? If this is more of a question for CQG, I'm really sorry...

Hello Altaria,

Unfortunately real-time data for continuous contracts is not supported with CQG. You can load historical data as you mention.
