Hello,

I have some questions about strategies in NT. Let´s go see at this example and try to give comment of this one.
1) I´ll take on strategie in NT. Where is strategie running ?
a) In my PC only
b) In server NT or somewhere else

2) What happens if my internet fall down?
a) My strategie is running somewhere else
b) My strategie is flat down and my positions are flat down too

3) After reconnection at internet - what happens...?

Hello mavels,

It will run in NinjaTrader on your PC.

You can configure the behavior of automated strategies during a disconnection so they will keep running. You can find these settings at Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Strategies-->NinjaScript-tab. Please see the link below for information.

If you select KeepRunning, the strategy will not terminate but it will keep active and running during a disconnection. It will not submit any orders during the disconnection since the strategy requires real-time data to calculate its conditions. Once you are re-connected, the strategy will continue to run and behave as you programmed.
