how to cancel optimization

Perhaps I just missed seeing the button. Is there a way to cancel a running optimization? If an optimization is running longer than expected, how can I cancel it? Is it possible to cancel and see what it has so far? Is there anyway to cancel or is shutting down NT7 the only solution?

Thank you for your post.

When running the Optimization there will be an 'Abort' button on the bottom right hand corner of the NinjaTrader Control Center next to the status of the Optimization.

Any other way to force a cancel? My NT is in it's weekly glitch mode and there is no abort button. Just says "Running Optimizer..."

You will need to shutdown NinjaTrader, sometimes forcefully (Right click on the task bar -> Start Task Manager -> Select NinjaTrader.exe -> End Process)

So there's no way to salvage my optimizer results? Everything is still running fine, I just can't wait any longer.

Correct, you will need to fully shutdown the application if you do not see the Abort button in the Control Center
