Marking of Trade History

Dear Sir,

I understand that the trade history can be plotted on the chart but is it possible to transfer it from one NinjaTrader to another NinjaTrading? My friend will help to analyse my entries and exits.

Hi Tiffany,

Thank you for your post.

You could provide your friend with a backup including NinjaTrader's database which they could restore on their own PC, This would transfer the trade data as you're looking for.

Dear Sir,

Will this overwrite the tick data of my freind's NinjaTrader. He is using IQFeed but I'm using COG. Is there a way just to transfer the trade data?

Hello,

This will not effect chart data in any way however the existing account performance results will be overwritten when the backup's settings are restored.

Dear Sir,

There are a no. of options under BackUp such as Database(Historical trade data), Historical chart data etc. If I only want to transfer the trade history, what option should I check so as not to affect the existing IQFeed historical data of my friend?

Tiffany,

Only the 'Database' option should be selected in your backup as I mentioned originally. Please see the attached image for an example.
