Session Time

Hi,

I have a workspace with 4 temporal spaces lined and I use to change the instrument I want to see.
The problem is that the session time is not linked with the instrument so if a I want a currency, European future or US future the session times are different.
Is there a way to solve this problem?

Hi Ssierra,

You can save templates of charts to display the correct session begin and end times. I suggest to create a template for each instrument that has a different session begin and end time and name it accordingly.

Set the session begin and end time and click OK. Now, right click in the chart and select Template-->Save As and name the template, for example US Future.

Next time you open up NinjaTrader, open up a chart for the desired instrument and select the apprioriate template to reflect the correct times.

that could be a partial solution but the big problem is the MA, I should have more than one witch is poinless. This is a greate software but this simple limitation is a big issue.

Hi Again,

I have to say that this seems to be a problem only with IQfeed and not with eSignal and this last one filters the ticks and there are not ticks after sessions. With zenfire i had a similar problem. I don’t know the rest of data providers.
