Installation DLL error

I have been trying to install Ninjatrader for the last two days - trying every trick given on this forum but to no avail. I have windows 7 installed on my machine with .net 3.5. but as soon as start the exe warning dialog comes up telling me that: “ There is a problem with this windows installer package. A DLL required for this install could not be run”. I’ve also tried downloading the previous version of NT but the problem seem to persist. Please Help

Please follow the instructions below to repair Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on your PC.

Download and run the .Net 4 installer from below. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...displaylang=en

Once ran you will receive two options if .Net 4 is installed.

Select "Repair .Net Framework 4 to its original state"

Click "Next" and follow other prompts

Once the setup application is finished it may ask you to restart your computer, even if it does not please do so.

Please retest your issue and see if it is resolved.

Tried to repair .NET framework as suggested.

But in vain.....

I use windows 7 home premium and install .net framework 4 this afternoon, but the same problem still there. " there is a problem in windows installer package, A DLL..."

Hello,

Please restart your PC and then check for updates to the .Net Framework with Windows Update.

Download and install all .NET Framework related updates.


Restart your PC as instructed by Windows Update.

Once restarted, retry downloading and installing NinjaTrader.

I use windows 7 home basic

I followed the steps suggested by you in thread no - 4..

That did not work. Therefore, I uninstalled .NET and reinstalled it....
Still the issue was not resolved...

As suggested by you in the last thread, I checked for windows update and istalled all updates pertaining to .NET and restarted my computer.... But the issue is not resolved...

The OS is windows 7 64-bit professional and I have IB TWS 4.0 installed.
I tried installing .net frame work 4.0 and 4.5 and also had all the windows 7 updates installed but still same issue. I also tried choosing repair option when installing the framework and restarted the computer.
