Switching quote provider mid-session

I use IB because I find their spreads and commissions better than anyone else, and I use IQFeed (FXCM & Barclays) because they provide unrestricted historical tick data which IB doesn't.

I recently wanted to try out tick-based bars in my set-up and to create a chart with a few hours history, I connected to IQFeed, and then I connected to IB.

So I got my tick-based chart up-to-the-second with the previous few hours loaded.

I then disconnected IQFeed because I want to observe the bid/ask from IB.

This destabilised NT7. I have tried this 3 days now and it's too unstable.

When I try to reload a chart (while only connected to IB, after disconnecting from IQFeed) the chart disappears and it only shows 0 on the y-axis.

There are other little problems as well but that is the killer.

Yes, unfortunately IB does not support historical tick data. So when you reload historical data, the chart will be loaded without data.

What unstable behavior do you experience when disconnect IQFeed and you are only connected to IB?

In addition, please send me your log and trace files so I can investigate. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Jason, Switching quote provider mid-session' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

OK, I've emailed you as requested.

The main issue is that I can't reload data. It strips out the bars and leaves nothing but zero on the y-axis.
