How to know there is an active Strategy?

If I have 3 charts up and only one has a strategy installed on it, is there a visible way for me to tell which chart has the active strategy? Aside from opening the Strategy dialog?

Yes, just look at the charts and only one of them will have the strategy listed in the top left corner of the chart canvas.

ah, OK, sort of subtle, but I see it.

Given how important it is to know whether you have any active strats and on which charts, perhaps something more "in your face" would make more sense. After all, you change the entire background color of the DOM if you are live or sim.

Just a suggestion. Is there a programmatic way to know when a strat is in place so as to make an indicator of some sort?

No programattic way. You can change the font size of the chart to make it stand out more. See Chart Properties.
