How do I run a strategy on a sim 101 account?

If you apply your script with Global Simulation Mode checked from the chart or strategies tab, the Sim101 would be chosen per default as account to execute to, if you're working in Live mode then the account selector would offer you to choose when setting up your script.

I have global simulation checked, when I click on stregies from cont.center, the window opens up, but , I have no options to select eg strategy instrument, data series etc. I am using the free version by the way.

diggerydoo99, correct in this case it would use Sim101. That's the account locked into the Global Sim Mode by NT.
