historical data ?

I'm using the AMP NT with CQG feed and there's virtually no historical data

how can I get more historical data ?

The CQG connection does have quite extensive historical data for most common Futures instruments


Can you tell me the following:

- What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About, this will look like 7.0.1000.xx

- What instrument have you selected? If a Futures instrument, please include Front Month (ES 06-13)

- What chart interval is selected? (5min, 4 range, etc.)

- How many days to load do you have? Right click in your chart -> Data Series -> Days to Load

Hello,

If you are you looking at those larger time frames you may benefit from using the Kinetick EOD connection.

File -> Disconnect -> Your CQG connection.

File -> Connect -> Kinetick EOD.

Reload the Yearly, Monthly and Weekly charts to load more data.

do I need a password to use Kinetick, and
what about me using Continuous contracts ?

No, you do not need a password for the Kinetick Free End of Day connection.

Kinetick also supports Continuous Contracts.
