Good morning,
I have created workspaces with charts stocks (S & P500) daily starting from 1990 to present with Yahoo historical data, there are uploaded to the Trading Systems. The data Yahoo are delayed by about 15 minutes, then use Interactive Brokers to have the data in real time.
I would like to know, please, if possible use Interactive brokers only to have the data in real time, to see if there are input signals with Trading Systems when he opens the New York Stock Exchange. I would not want to dirty the historical data of the graphs made with Yahoo. I ask this because the data of IB and those of Yahoo are not equal and can create problems. Use yahoo to make backtest strategies because it has very long historical data. I can not use Interactive brokers to make backtests because the time series are limited. So, I have the graphics loaded in with Yahoo Workspaces and use IB to see in real time if there are signs of Trading Systems.

Hello Italy,

Can you please disable historical data as per the IB connection. Go to Control Center-->Tools-->Account Connections. Highlight the IB connection and click Change. Disable historical data and finish the connection.

Subsequently connect to IB to receive real-time data in your charts. Historical data will not be loaded from IB and overwritten because you disabled it.
