    Connection Issue - CQG

    Hi,

    I have been experiencing this problem for around an hour. When trying to connect to AMP through CQG I'm unable to get a connection. I have tried resetting the modem, restarting the PC and connecting an additional SIM account but unfortunately I'm still not getting a connection. I have contacted AMP which they suggested I contact NinjaTrader, I also spoke with a representative at CQG who suggested the same.

    After 20 or so attempts at connecting I got the following error message;

    login failed: Login System returned an error: No available ROM number

    Hello suprsnipes,

    Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.

    Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
    From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
    Select the "Data" tab
    Press the "Repair DB" button
    Press the "OK" button
    Then recreate the connection in NinjaTrader.

        Please send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.

        You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

        Please put 'ATTN: Chris S' in the subject line and reference this thread in the body of the e-mail:

          Connection error

          Hello,

          I downloaded the ninjatrader about two weeks ago and have enjoyed the software. Today I have been attempting to connect to the demo account that I have through Apex without success. I havent' had a problem until a message came up yesterday stating something about having two accounts running on the same demo. I didn't think anything of it as I was trading most of the day. I closed down the computer and didn't restart it until 9:30 today. An error message came up when I attempted to connect "Login failed: Unspecified Login Error"
          I logged off and restarted the computer. I reset the data base. I deleted the Apex connection and reinstalled it and so far I can't log into the demo. Can anyone help?

              connection problem login failed

              hello,


              I am trying to load chart on NT7 but it is not getting from today morning.Mine is demo account.shows massage "Login failed: Unspecified Login Error".

              can anybody help me to clear this issue.

                Hello,
                To receive data you must be connected. As you are unable to connect to your demo account you will not be able to receive data for this morning until you connect. This error indicates that your demo account has expired (they generally last ~two weeks). If you would like to continue receiving data and you requested a demo from NinjaTrader Brokerage you can contact the Brokerage team on your options. You can contact the Brokerage team at brokeragesales[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com.
