Workspaces won't load

Having saved my workspaces as "workspace name", when I select File/Workspaces/Open Workspace", nothing opens?

Edit: I think I know what has happened. Ninja will allow you to save a workspace that has nothing open, i.e, just the control centre. So having closed open windows because they don't dock and are not tabbed, i.e, are hard to manage, I've saved a completely blank workspace, and lost a shedload of work setting up stuff in the first place. What's the point of that? God I hope NT8 has better window management than this.
