Phantom Transaction?

    Phantom Transaction?

    Gents - I have probably done something stupid to cause this - but I would like to know how to 'get out' of this.

    In the .jpg attached -
    The chart shows an order 1L placed.
    The DOM shows no active positions.
    The Strategies tab for ES06-13 shows an Unrealized loss of 137.5 on the position
    The orders tab (not shown) is empty
    The Positions tab (not shown) is empty


    So it appears to me I have an open order - but no way to cancel it or sell to close it.
    Any thoughts?

    BTW - I have already reset the DB, Reset the instrument list and restarted NT. The 'phantom order' re-appears whenever I load the strategy

    the good news is - this is on the SIM.

    And,, strangely enough - as I was sitting here looking at it.
    It did this: (See attached)


    The position is now losed at end of day yesterday - with an 'Exit on Close'
    Which is what I would have expected
    Just wondering why this would show up in the chart (and the strategy tab) at 11:27 AM the following trading day

      Hello mgabriel01,

      Looking at the two images, it looks like one the chart was reloaded as on the second time around. Did you reload the chart and then the "Exit on Close" appeared on the chart?

        Yeap
        I reloaded the chart
        cleared it up
        but - Im thinking if that was a live trade - and I was losing money - I shouldn't have had to do that?

          Hello mgabriel01,

          What did you have your "Exit on close" set to when you first enabled your strategy? You can find this out in the Log tab of the Control Center.

          For example: "Enabling NinjaScript strategy '<Strategy Name>/<Numbers and letters>' : On starting a real-time strategy - StrategySync=WaitUntilFlat SyncAccountPosition=False EntryHandling=AllEntries EntriesPerDirection=1 StopTargetHandling=PerEntryExecution ErrorHandling=StopStrategyCancelOrdersClosePositio ns ExitOnClose=True/ triggering 30 before close Set order quantity by=Strategy ConnectionLossHandling=Recalculate DisconnectDelaySeconds=10 CancelEntryOrdersOnDisable=False CancelExitOrdersOnDisable=False CalculateOnBarClose=True MaxRestarts=7 in 6 minutes"

              Could you send me your log and trace files so that I may look into this.

              You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.
