I get this error whenever I start a certain Strategy. The Strategy however, seems to submit the trades correctly so I don't understand what is happening.
The message tells me that a certain "Type" was unexpected and that I must use the XmlInclude attribute to specify types that are unknown statically. The Type "TradeData" was the unexpected type, and it is simply a helper class that exposes a few simple methods and some data.
I found other posters that had this same problem and were told that NT technicians cannot troubleshoot C# messages involving "serialization" which was said to be the root of this problem.
With all that, these are my questions.
Why am I having a "serialization" problem in the first place.
Which NT function is failing when I see the error.
Since NT Technicians don't troubleshoot C# errors, can you tell me how to avoid the error in the first place?
