How do I send orders to TD Ameritrade / TOS?

Hello AndrewF,

Please note that only TD Ameritrade accounts are supported in NinjaTrader. You cannot send orders to ThinkOrSwim (orange) accounts. You can connect to TD Ameritrade and send orders as long as the account is branded as a "green" account. Only equities are supported, no futures or forex.

A live license key is required to trade your TD Ameritrade account as well. The free license key is limited to trade the NinjaTrader sim101 account.

Got it and done. How do I specify a paper money account at TD?

Unfortunately I would not know. I suggest to contact TD Ameritrade for instructions how to open a paper account with them.
