Remove historical data

I would like to remove all of my historical data.
The manual states that Reset DB should only be used at the prompting of an NT technician. Is there a way that I can easily remove all of the historical data without re-setting any other aspects of the program?

I deleted about 90% of the data and backed up my installation. I'm showing a backup size of 3.7 GB so I assume that the database wasn't compacted. How do I do that?

Hi,

Are you a user of Market Replay data by any chance? If so, removing it from the backup typically clears up a good bit of space.

You compact the database by repairing it. Tools --> Options --> Data --> Repair DB.
