    Amount of memory

Unfortunately, my computer ran out of memory during my first test of the SIM account. I had loaded several hundred symbols, ultimately I probably want to follow 100-300 stock symbols with the same strategy at the same time. What type of system requirements and memory requirements should I have for this type of simulation to be successful without running out of memory? Any other suggestions to avoid running out of memory?

    Thanks,

We require that you have at least 2GB of memory on your system to ensure proper functionality.

The 32-bit version will only be able to use 1.3~ GB's of your available system memory.

The 64-bit version has access to quite a bit more memory should this be available on your system.

You can read more of our system requirements from the folloiwng link:

        Hello elitetradernyc,

Yes, NinjaTrader 7 will operate normally when running under the Windows 8 operating system. You are correct that a 64 bit operating system is required to access the 64 bit version of NinjaTrader.

If other questions come up please let me know.
