Why SL is (Stop Limit) type?

HI Ninja,
Reviewing my ATM trade log , I did discover that the Stop Loss is stated as Stop limit order type with a 20 ticks limit!
This might be very dangerous as the fill could be at 20 rather than the intended SL value of trader...
Can we set SL to an default order type rather than Stop Limit ??

Thanks for posting.

You can change the type of order that is placed when doing ATM Strategies. This change will make your stop limit orders to stop market orders.

To do this –
• Go to the properties of the trading window, i.e. SuperDOM or Chart Trader, by right clicking and selecting properties
• Scroll down to the bottom and change ‘Use stop market for stop loss orders’ to true
This will make the stop loss a stop market order instead.
