Custome timeline grids

I would like to have on my charts timeline grids (tha is, vertical lines) at certain intervals. For example, I want to see a vertical line on my chart every 10 minutes. Is this something that I can do through Ninjatrader in itself, or do I need a custom indicator?

Add box bars maybe...

A possibility...you could add a 10 minute Box Bar data series to a chart...
(have suggested this before)

Hello Alfred,

You can create a 10 minute box bar chart in NinjaTrader.

To do this you will need to set 'Chart style' to 'Box', 'Type' to 'Minute' and 'Value' to '10' in the Data Series window.

I would like to add those box bars to my chart, which is a special type of tick chart, but I don't know how. Could you please explain how you did that?

When I right click and choose Data Series, I don't get the option for box as a Chart Style. I imagine you used a different method, judging from the chart example you attached.

For Fredarzani....

Attached is a screen shot of the Data Series setup for Box Bars...this one is setup for a 900 second box bar overlay (15 minutes)....you could use the minute chart style and set to 10 minutes, or you could use seconds and set to 600 seconds for the 10 minute period you want. I set the body of the box bars as transparent and with separate colors for the outlines of the box bars...
