newby question/problem

Hi everybody,

I've just installed NT, trying to create a chart but I'm not getting any data.

I have connected IQ feed with the howto, NT says I'm connected. But when I want to create a chart I get no data.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a howto that explains the steps with symbols after you connected your data provider?

Hello and welcome to our forums,

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?

(For a chart) what interval is selected?

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

Hi Lance,

I use version 7.0.1000.12.

I will first watch the webinar, and if I'm unable to fix it afterward I'll get back to this thread.

I don't see any error in the logging.
