error loading Ninja Script

Hello,

When I tried to upload the attached file I got this error : "Import failed. The NinjaScript archive file may contain duplicate method names that already exist on your PC or there is a required file missing..."

How can I fix this? Thanks for your help

Hello Al,

That error message typically means you either have a 3rd Party Add-on/Custom NinjaScript that uses a custom method that has the same name as one inside of the new indicator you are trying to import, the NinjaScript you are trying may have been exported on a previous version of NinjaTrader, or it the file was exported improperly.

I have tried to import the file as well and received the same error. I would contact the vendor/provider about this to get it resolved.

Yes NinjaTrader_JC is correct. It seems like the zip file has a component with the same name that are being installed or a Ninja built-in your computer.

Hi futuros,

The issue with CustomTradingSystem.ClassicMACD.zip was caused by improperly written 3rd party indicator (written by another vendor) that was installed on the machine that did the export.
