Starting strategies from "Strategies" tab

Hi,

When on the Strategy tab of the Control Center, I noticed that there is an option to start a "New Strategy" without having to open the corresponding chart.

Is there any harm/difference in doing so, or would be be "safer" to open a chart and starting a Strategy from there?

Hello Nick,

Thanks for your note.

Adding a strategy to the Strategies tab is just as safe as adding a strategy to a chart.

In fact, when you add a strategy to a chart, it simply adds the strategy to this section with the parameters you have specified on the chart. When you close the chart it will disable the strategy.

From the Strategies tab you will have to manually un-check the enabled box, or remove the strategy by right-clicking and hitting Remove.
