Time Question

If I am using a time indicator. One to highlight times during a certain part of day(like 3:00AM) Does the time in the indicator(when I go to indicators and parameters) need to line up with the time on my chart?

I am having difficulty setting up an indicator, it works on some charts, but not on others.

How does one go about changing the time settings in Ninjatrader? I am currently -10, but I'd like to change my times to eastern times.

Thank you for your post.

When setting the time within your indicator parameters you will need to use the time specific to your PC.

Charts within NinjaTrader are based off of your local PC clock therefore in order to change your chart time to EST you will be required to change your Local PC clock to EST as well.

To change your PC clock please close NinjaTrader-->right mouse click on the PC clock in the lower right hand corner-->Adjust Date/Time-->Change Time Zone-->Select the new time zone-->Click Ok.

Are you referring to running multiple time zones? If so unfortunately this is not supported and you can only run one instance of NinjaTrader at a time.
