Why are futures not visible in Master Instrument List

The drop down box Type: lists only <any>, Currency, Index.

There are no futures symbols in the Available Master Instrument List.

I added the M6E via the New button as as a future, and clicked OK, but it isn't in the Master Instrument list, so can not be added to an instrument list.

I have from the default installation in the default instrument list.... if I move one of those over to the Master instrument list it disappears, and I still have no futures in the Master list at all.

Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

Your provider will need to support the instrument type in NinjaTrader.

The Kinetick EOD connection supports all instrument types in NinjaTrader.

The Free EOD Kinetick connection is preloaded in to NinjaTrader 7 automatically. You can connect to it by going in NinjaTrader to > File > Connect > Kinetick - End of Day (free). This connection will give you access to historical Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly data.

Please note that the EOD connection provides access to historical daily data only, allowing you to access Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly data for free.
