Trade with Kinectick Data + Interactive Brokers (without IB subscriptions)

Hi,

I am very interested to use a single data provider such as Kinectick to chart-trade with Interactive Brokers.

However, I heard that API trading cannot be done through Interactive Brokers TWS without a subscription to their data also. Is this correct?

eg, If I already have a TF(Russel Futures) data subscription through Kinectick or Zen-Fire, but NOT with Interactive Brokers, Can i still place a TF Russel Futures trade with InteractiveBrokersTWS through Ninjatrader?

It is not required that you have subscription through TWS. You can still place orders to the account, however the API will report that you do not have real-time data subscribed on each order action.
