Overlaying Charts

How do I overlay 2 instruments into 1 chart? For example I want to
overlay EUR/USD against USD/JPY. NOT in separate panels.

First you would add both data series to the chart: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...price_data.htm

By default you are right they will be in separate panels. You can change this by right clicking the chart -> Data series -> select the data series you want to move -> change the Panel to match the panel of the other data series.

Alternatively you can left click the series so that the anchor points appear, then click again and drag it over the other series.

thax for your response. I did what u said and this is what I got.

This is because one market's price is significantly lower than the other.

If you would like them to overlap but not be dependent on price you can go in to the data series window and change the scale justification setting.

Using overlay will make it plot the current price on the right hand side. using Left will plot the price axis on the left

One more thing all the instruments except for 6J will overlay. Why am I
having a problem with 6J?

This is because the two markets you're comparing differ greatly with their tick size.

The 6J is moving is .000001 ticks where as the CL is moving in .01 sized ticks. Both of them are displaying properly but the distance traveled between the two is not similar.
