Black background chart template

Hi,

Can somebody share a chart template that uses black background?

Generally I use IB charts that have black background. Now I am starting to build a few charts on NT. Switching between black background charts and white background charts is very hard on the eyes.

I tried building a black bg chart in NT but it came out ugly. I am sure somebody must have already done this as black bg is definitely easier on eyes. If you could share the template, I would highly appreciate.

Hello vishalct,

Here is an example chart with a black background and the template saved.

Specifically, when using the Black Background, you will want to change the chart Axis color and the Outline and Wick color of the candlesticks.

Download the BlackBackground.xml file and put this in your chart templates folder.

• Start button
• Documents
• NinjaTrader 7
• Templates
• Chart

Then Right click in your chart -> Templates -> Load -> BlackBackground
