Profitable/Unprofitable dashed trade line

Hi,

I have this option in Data Series, but do I need a NinjaScript to run it? I want the green/red dashed lines to display on the chart on my profitable/unprofitable trades.

Thank you for your note.

Yes, that is a NinjaScript only option to plot the green/red dashed lines between trades as strategies track all entries and exits.

For this you can place your own manually drawn lines between the trade markers.

Additionally, I will forward the suggestion to our Development Team for future consideration.

OK, so even thou I manually trade off the chart, it cannot plot the dashed lines for my trades automatically?

almost five years are gone. Is it possible to do it now?

This is still only available by default for historical strategy trades.

Also note that NinjaTrader 7 is no longer in development so if any changes are made it would be made to NinjaTrader 8.
