How do I backfill my ES chart.

I have the latest beta.

Hi dotcomdean,

You can request historical data upon opening a chart by setting the amount of days back to your liking. However, IB has a limitation on how much historical data you can request at a time. If you experience this, please wait 5 minutes and you can request historical data again.

In addition, we recommend to have TWS 877 installed, which is the official supported version with NinjaTrader at this time. You can download this version at the link below.

I have build 882.1

I tried requesting 5 minute bars, 1 day back, and it won't work.

Also, you need to show that it is retrieving data, with a status message somewhere. Maybe on the chart window title bar. IB backfill sometimes takes a few minutes.

- next NT6.5 beta has optimized queries for IB backfill data and should work faster

How do you plan to fix future problems with IB Backfill.

Would there be quick patches released within 24 hours?
