    The reason for a blank chart?

    Hello all!
    Ive been getting a blank chart when loading the 100 tick eurusd chart on 1/18/2013, it says loading data and then it gets rid of the 'loading data' and displays a blank chart (now, when i do 2/23/2013 it works, and so does dates in the far past, like those in 2011). I dont understand, shouldnt ninjatrader tell me why im getting a blank chart? ive even imported all historical last tick data from 2007- february 2013, so data shouldnt be a problem.

    I had this problem with fxcm demo account, ccouldnt even get a chart to load (now im using mbtrader demo, and havent had a problem till now), and ninja never told me why, disappointing in such a wonderful program to have such bugs .. nothing in the log.

    Hello Starry,

    I am not sure how much historical tick data FXCM supports. Was the data that you imported from FXCM that you downloaded?

      no it was dukascopy data from here http://www.strategyquant.com/tickdatadownloader/
      i dont understand why i cant show december tick charts, it was working before and supplies data from 2007 - 2013. i reimported the data, same result....

        I guess its not that big a deal, it seems that only december 2012 doesnt work, still confusing though .... the historical data manger, when i try to view the data i import, freezes when i go to the tick data soi cant check there...

          Are you able to load the missing data if you remain unconnected from FXCM when loading the data?

              Could you provide a copy of the data you've imported so that I can check this section of the data set here?

              With the message, please include:
              1.) A link to this forum thread.

              2.) An upload of the data you've imported which includes the missing period. Due to file size restrictions, please upload using SendSpace if that file is larger than 3 MB.

                Hey!
                My data file is 6 GB large, so when I get the time this week I will have to write a program which just gets the december data. until then, everything else is working well!
